About



Fred is an award winning and published professional photographer specializing in photojournalism and nature/landscape photography, with over 40 years experience.

He is a 2018 graduate of the Hollywood Art Institute in with a certificate in Photography. As of 2020, he is enrolled in a Master of Photography class with the prestigious Institute of Photography, under the mentorship of Serge Ramelli, a recognized world-class photographer.  Photography has been Fred's passion since serving in the Navy in the 1970s.

He a member of the American Legion, the nations largest veterans organization. Fred is the Historian for Whittier Post 51 and has served as the California state Historian for the Legion from 2020 to 2023, with photo work routinely published in the California Legionnaire, a quarterly newsletter, as well as, on numerous veteran social media sites.
